To say that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the world would be an understatement. In less than a year since the virus emerged and since tracking began in Canada — it’s upended day-to-day lives across the globe.
The pandemic has changed how we work, learn and interact as social distancing guidelines have led to a more virtual existence, both personally and professionally.
Mental health challenges: Unsurprisingly, the pandemic has triggered a wave of mental health issues specially among children. Help ISC reach out to these kids and their families to help them stay healthy during the pandemic and to assist them to make significant lifestyle changes, including more time outdoors, improved sleep patterns, starting and/or modifying home exercise programs and most importantly introduce and promote healthy dietary changes.
