Celebrating Dedication, Growth, and a $4,000 University Scholarship
At International Soccer Club (ISC), we believe in recognizing and nurturing talent both on and off the field. We’re incredibly proud to announce that Wyatt Kim has been awarded the ISC scholarship of $4,000 to support his university education. 🎓⚽
A Journey Fueled by Passion
Wyatt’s love for soccer began in Grade 9. From his very first competitive season, he realized the sport was more than a game—it was a form of self-expression and joy.
“I fell in love with how fun it was and how I could express myself through playing. It made me want to keep going, to compete, and to be my best.”
That spark grew into a deeper commitment, guiding him to train harder, push boundaries, and aim higher.
Growth On and Off the Field
Joining ISC gave Wyatt the tools to become not just a better player, but a better person.
“I’ve definitely improved my teamwork skills. Soccer taught me how to collaborate, not just in sports but in school and life.”
Playing in a team sport strengthened his ability to work with others, taught him discipline, and showed him the power of community.
Lessons Beyond Wins
For Wyatt, the most valuable lesson wasn’t about winning—it was about resilience.
“No matter the setbacks—injuries, losses—there’s always something after. The joy that made you fall in love with the game in the first place never runs out.”
That perspective has become his anchor, helping him navigate challenges and remain focused on his goals.
Looking Ahead: A Varsity Dream
Wyatt’s next step is playing for the varsity soccer team at university—a dream this scholarship is helping him pursue.
“My goal is to continue playing at a high level, to keep expressing myself through soccer, and give 100% to what I love.”
