International Soccer Club (ISC) is a Not for Profit Youth Soccer Club established in Mississauga in 2008. The ISC is registered with the City of Mississauga as Volunteer Community Group and sanctioned and governed by the Ontario Soccer Association and Peel Halton Soccer Association to operate as a Youth Recreational and Rep Soccer Club in Mississauga.

The ISC is looking for Enthusiastic, fun, energetic, organized, committed and physically active individuals who are fit soccer players and/or soccer coaches to coach our 2016 youth Teams this coming Summer from May until August 2016 (exact start and end dates of the league are below)

Candidates must:
• Live in Mississauga, Milton or Brampton
• Has strong desire to work with, or already have experience working with children
• Has a Solid soccer experience as a player and/or as a coach or a volunteer coach.
• Be able to commit to set hours /week.
• Be reliable, patient, and out-going
• Has passion for sports and physical activity
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal Skills
• Has a car
• Has a clean Police Check

Schedule for HL coaches U5 to U15 teams (job code ASC16):

You can choose to work all or any of the following hours:
Tuesdays U12 6:30-8:30
Wednesdays U14 6:30-8:30
Thursdays U9 6:30-8:30
Fridays U10 6:30-8:30
Saturdays U5 to U8 9:00AM – 1:30PM
Season starts May 24th and goes until August 20th
We are off the following 2 weeks:
June 29 to July 4 both days included
July 28 to August 3rd both days included

Job Description:

• Coordinate and manage your team, players and parents.
• Offer fun, creative & enjoyable drills to your team.
• Keep parents and players engaged and connected to the club activities.
• Follow the Soccer development curriculum and focus on player development.
• Interact with parents, give feedback on children’s abilities, and provide suggestions to improve their skills.

Training:
The ISC offers:
- A two-weekends in class and on grass training to all its candidates.
- 100% reimbursement of the cost of all your OSA Coaching Courses to become recognized licensed soccer Coach by any OSA Club or CSA (Canadian Soccer Association) club in Canada.
Candidates will also be required to get a 6-hours online class by the OSA prior to hiring.

- For House League Coaches, a clear Police Check, Respect in Soccer Coaching Certificate are mandatory.

- For All Star Coaches, a clear Police Check, Respect in Soccer, Learn to train, and the OSA Coaching Certificate required for the Age group are mandatory.
